Bag Testing

As an added service, Filter-Tex Media's engineers can perform several tests on your bags to determine modes of failure. These tests include permeability before and after simulated pulse, tensile strength and a complete visual and cross section examination of the bag. For more indepth analysis, Filter-Tex Media use the services of the CSIRO.

Filter-Tex Media can also test the electrical resistance of fabrics using a mega ohm metre. If you are unsure as to whether your epitropic/antistatic bags meet the DIN and British standards we would be more than happy to come out and test them for you on site.
