FTM sintered bags are made up of several layers of mesh sintered together to form an integrated porous element. The inner mesh is of a very fine gauge and determines filtration accuracy. This is overlaid with coarse support mesh layers and protective outer mesh layers. This is type of surface filtration means that solid contaminants are retained onf the surface of the filtration layer. This facilitates high filtration efficiency and makes back flushing very easy. Sintered bags offer excellent heat, corrosion and pressure resistance.
