Metal media filter are fully capable of withstanding temperatures of over 250DegC whilst they can maintain a high level of filtration accuracy. They facilitate the continuous filtration of high temperature gas to remove solid contaminants contained in the gas. |
Compared to conventional systems in which gas is filtered after cooling, this high temperature system saves energy, improves production efficiency, and secondary pollution due to waste cooling water is eliminated. The heat energy of the pure high temperature filtered clean gas can be utilized in drying, baking, and preheating processes.
Manufactured in stainless steel or Inconel for temperatures up to 1300DegC, ceramic filter elements are available.
