Sintered Metal Filter Bags
Filter-Tex Media's sintered bags are made up of several layers of mesh sintered together to form an integrated porous element.
|
The inner mesh is of a very fine gauge and determines filtration accuracy. This is overlaid with coarse support mesh layers and protective outer mesh layers. This type of surface filtration means that solid contaminants are retained on the surface of the filtration layer. This facilitiates high filtration efficiency and makes backflushing very easy. Sintered bags offer excellent heat, corrosion and pressure resistance.

Seamless Filter Bags
Seamless filter bags manufactured by Filter-Tex Media exhibit unique filtration advantages.
- Eliminated potential seam failure.
- Eliminates potential leakage through needle holes.
- Eliminates "banana" effect of tensioned seam reducing bag to collector abrasion.
- Produces more uniform sinusoidal cleaning wave (shaker collectors).
- Allows better seals at cuff areas.
- Allows more active filtration area.
- Longer bag life
- Easier to install.
- Less resistance to flow.
- Greater abrasion resistance on heavier fabric weights
