Latham Filter Presses have an established position as world leaders in pressure filtration systems and achieve a more efficient level of separation than alternative methods.
The Latham product range extends from small pilot plant size units to the Jumbo press with filter plates measuring 2500mmx2500mm and maximum filtration pressures of 3000 kPa.
Manual operation
The smaller dewatering units are designed to operate with no specialist skills and are supplied with press mounted feed pumps.
Fully Automatic
Unlike the smaller, manually operated presses, the fully automatic models have the advantage of no operator involvement, an automatic cake discharge and high throughput.
Full automation is achieved through PLC control of all press functions and automatic valve actuation. The unique design of multi link and shaker plates ensures clean, consistent cake discharge.
Membrane Technology
A wide range of Membrane and recessed chamber plates are available in heat-stabilised polypropylene and PVDF. All plates are specifically designed to suit the operating conditions.
Testing
Filter-Tex Media are able to offer comprehensive process trials, which can be conducted on site using our skid, mounted test units.
Filter Cloths
Continuing advancements in the design of filter presses have created a need for new and innovative fabrics with increased strength, stability, chemical resistance and cake release properties.
Filter-Tex Media manufacture an extensive range of press cloths to suit all types of press plates. With one of the widest choices of filter fabrics, Filter-Tex Media can choose or design a filter cloth with the correct fibre type, weight, porosity, weave and surface finish to optimise your application.
